Hi yall! Sorry this took so long. We still don't technically have internet access in our dorms and the one old as methusela pc at the main office is hella slow. Highlights. I have two doormen in my building both named Guido. Guido buono and Guido cattivo as they are known affectionately by the other residnete. I live with three fairly awsome Italian students one of which is my age and two of which are twentyfive. When I got here Guido Cattivo handed us each a set of keys ranging from 7 to 13 keys, no explanation. Another fun thing to note is everysingle Italian I have met our age love the smurfs or Puffi as they are known in Italy. They all have these cups with Puffi on them which were at one time nuttella jars. I right now have fucking streptococcus virus so I am just trying to lay a bit low (on the plus side I now know how to take temperature in celcius), but before this I was doing the Marlena no sleep regimen and going out almost everynight. Went to Verona and felt like a jaded cynic. I have more to say but this will have to be a starter post. I will be on this blog! I have attatched this video because along with Puffi there is also an inexplicable love for this particular Shakira song. Waka Waka yall! More on Mario next time (spoiler alert: it involves absurd texting. Lets just say he turned out to be more of a stalker than a nice guy like I originally thought).

last week in sf/ JACKIE NEEDS TO POST

Spending a free moment trying to figure out how this thing works!   I seem to have gotten this far.   Nothing to report really, still chillin at home (sorta lonely cuz all my friends have left at this point).  1 week to go! However, I would like to nominate jackie for a post- i want more details about italy!!! where are you living?  are people/classes good?  food?  THE ITALIAN MAN????  who are you and what have you done with jackie?

 GO NINERS!!!!! they just won their first playoff game in a decade yesterday with a touchdown with 14 seconds left - the city went nuts (my dad prostrated himself before the television), you could hear the cheering in the streets, they set off the foghorns, it was amazing.
